Allie's Story

This painting is very important as it reflects the connection established with Portrait Customers who tend to establish a lifetime and multiple generations of professional and personal relationships. This bond is one of the closest established working relationships achieved as an artist.

The two paintings represent the bond created by artists and clients for. My clients are loved and respected for their loyalty. 

I seek to connect with the soul of the client and their reaction to this is often like family.  I am very touched of the bonds created by this trust, which is a two-way communication circle between all races of clients.

 Dr. Whitehurst sent this photo of the two paintings finally united in her home after almost 30 years. Her niece started attempting to reconnect with me about 20 years ago after I moved from the Bay Area to the New Jersey area. (moved to Camden, NJ in 2021). Finally in 2023, the Galley Owner in Oakland, Ca at Thelma’s Gallery-Thelma reminded Allie that the same person who completed her father's beautiful portrait, more than 20 years before; would be an excellent choice for completing her mother's portrait, which is pictured above.
