4. Little Girl At Play-1987 Painting of a Little Girl making mudpies. The simplicity of this painting represents for me the 1st painting, where I acknowledge that God will create the world that I need to complete His purpose, when you align yourself with Him. One in my first childhood memory series. Subliminal: My paintings can very often visit more than one concept in the same piece. I’ve also referred to the true meaning in “Let Love Lead” video reel, where it is a Protecting the Innocent: A Call for Meaningful Political Discourse In an era increasingly defined by division and acrimony, the responsibility to protect the most vulnerable members of our society—the innocent—has never been more urgent. The innocent, whether they are children, victims of systemic injustices, or those marginalized by circumstances beyond their control, represent the moral compass of our civilization. How we treat them, and how we advocate for their well-being, speaks volumes about who we are as a people. Yet, our political arenas often descend into chaos, where the clash of ideologies overshadows the essence of true governance: the welfare of the people. Instead of fostering dialogue, we throw dirt and hurl accusations, indulging in a theater of outrage that serves no constructive purpose. In doing so, we fail not only ourselves but also those who depend on us for protection, sustenance, and justice. It is time to change the narrative. Protecting the innocent cannot be a partisan issue—it must transcend political affiliations and ideological boundaries. To do so, we must advocate for a political culture grounded in respect, reason, and responsibility. Real Sustenance for Political Debate The foundation of meaningful political debate lies in addressing the real issues that affect people's lives, rather than indulging in superficial rhetoric. We must focus on creating policies that: • Safeguard the well-being of children: Ensure access to quality education, healthcare, and a safe environment free from violence and exploitation. • Uphold social justice: Address systemic inequities that disproportionately harm the innocent, including poverty, discrimination, and lack of access to basic rights. • Promote accountability: Hold leaders and institutions to the highest standards of ethics and transparency, ensuring that decisions prioritize the common good. Moving Beyond Mudpies The politics of division, characterized by name-calling and baseless accusations, does nothing to protect or empower the innocent. Instead, it deepens mistrust and alienation. Moving forward, we must: • Embrace civil discourse: Engage in conversations that honor differing perspectives without diminishing the dignity of others. • Seek evidence-based solutions: Ground policy proposals in facts and research, rather than emotional appeals or populist rhetoric. • Foster empathy: Recognize the shared humanity in every individual, allowing compassion to guide our decisions. A Shared Responsibility Every citizen, not just those in political office, bears the responsibility to protect the innocent and to elevate the quality of public debate. By demanding more from ourselves and from our leaders, we can create a society where justice, compassion, and opportunity flourish. We owe it to the innocent to rise above the fray. 7. Easter in The Park or The Bench Must Be Immaculate-4-10-2035Title & Year: Easter in the Park, 4/15/2025-Medium: Oil on canvas, 24”x36” I dedicated this painting to ArtBridge Nexus. This Could be an early morning or sunset on Easter Day in the park. “Easter in the Park” is my most recent painting. It is a considerable response, while I weighed the decision of whether or not ABNs was right for me. I prayed and felt, I was led to you. I feel that I have come to yet another turning point in my career. You cannot distinguish whether it is morning or evening. I realized that life could appear to be in park mode and something beautiful solutions can come from being in “park mode”. No one likes to feel as though they are standing still. Yet when we work through and take our time, rejuvenation and renewal comes through dormant periods in life, just as Spring arises out of season change Both for the setting (a park space) and for ritual (implied by “Easter” and the emphasis on cleanliness or sacred order). It doesn't over-explain itself. • The use of stillness is powerful. The bench as a focal object feels metaphorical—evoking memory, pause, rest, or ceremony and Justice. • Titling it “must be immaculate” introduces tension: something sacred must be preserved. This sets an emotional tone that subtly prepares the viewer for a deeper portfolio.

The red, white and blue colors are obvious. The ground color is brown and elemental commentary on the fundamental pattern of abuse of the races which is still an issue in America.
